Dealing with Loneliness

Hey Gal Pals!!

I hope all of your beautiful faces are doing amazing! My prayer today is that you really seek the Lord and his wisdom today. My prayer is that you are relying on the Lord and not the people of this earth!

Today I want to talk about something that we have all felt. I know I have felt the horrible feeling of being alone and having no friends to talk to. Maybe you and your best friend got in a fight. Maybe somebody you trusted stabbed you in the back. Maybe you are constantly surrounded by people but you want to scream at the top of your lungs because nobody knows what you are going through.

Maybe because of this loneliness and betrayal you are angry at God. A few days ago I was feeling very lonely and betrayed. I said to God, “Do you have any idea what I’m going through??”  BAM!! God hit me like a ton of bricks.

He goes “Eleanor, of course I do. Do you remember reading about how Judas betrayed me? He delivered me to my own death. When I was dying for the sins of the world everybody ran because they were scared. The same people who threw sacrifices at my feet only a week before are now yelling ‘CRUCIFY’. I was so covered in sin, my very own Father had to look away! I know loneliness and I know the pain that it brings.”

I really thought about this. You guys… GOD IS SO GOOD! That’s not even the best part you guys! He went through all of that and died on a cross for Judas, for the people yelling crucify, for me, for everybody who has ever done me wrong. He has forgiven the worst of sins, so why can’t I forgive?

In that moment I had this feeling of joy and of thanksgiving. I had lost a lot of my friends, but I felt anything but lonely! I felt fulfilled and safe.  You can have that same feeling of complete and utter satisfaction.

Christ wants to be the shoulder you cry on. He wants you to tell him how you feel. He wants you to tell Him why you are so lonely. Because my loves, He is all to familiar with the feeling of loneliness and abandonment.

“For the sake of his great name the LORD will not reject his people, because the LORD was pleased to make you his own.”~ 1 Samuel 12:22

I hope you beautiful world changers have an amazing rest of your day! You are so loved and cherished by the Lord Most High! Have a blessed day beautiful masterpieces!
